Since the game is officially a paid game, people have been installing cracked copies which are unstable and cause crashes while gaming. This problem has been in the Windows version of the game for quite some time and there are some possible solutions to solve it.
What causes the collapse of the Nier automata?

We will limit the specific CPU cores when launching the Nier automata and see if this fixes the problem.

Launch Nier Automata and stay past the loading screen. Press Windows + R, scribe “taskmgr” in the dialog box and press Enter.

Once in the task manager, click Details and find the Nier Automata process. Right click and select Set Affinity
