Contents

There is a tool called Task Manager that is pre-installed in all versions of Windows. You can think of Task Manager as a tool that can help you manage the tasks running in the background of the system. As soon as you open the Task Manager, you will see a list of services and processes. You will see a section called Background processes. This section will contain Windows services and processes and third-party applications. You will also see detailed information about processes and applications. The information you will be able to see will include CPU and RAM usage, network use, disk usage (reading / writing) and much more. The Task Manager can also be used to stop (force stop) or start services and / the processes. The ability to stop services is very useful in situations where a service or application stops responding.

There are a ton of services running in the background on your PC. Some of these services are third party services, while others are Windows' own services. One of these services is UnistackSvcGroup (it's not actually a service itself, but there are a couple of services that belong to this group). You may notice that this service runs in Task Manager and consumes a lot of resources. That's what most users complain about. It will stay there and you will not find this service available in the Windows service list. Therefore, you will not be able to deactivate it. What's more, may be suspicious to many users, as it uses a lot of system resources.
