However, many players report lags in the game, which is unacceptable and spoils the fun of the game. FPS drop and poor network connection can be the cause of lag.

What Causes Lag Problem in PUBG?
Based on our research and numerous user reports, We found several different reasons that may be causing the lag in the game.
-
Game settings: the game will have default settings adjusted for a recommended system, which may not be suitable for you. You need to modify the settings according to your system.
-
Windows performance: sometimes your Windows limits CPU and memory speed due to power saving, which may cause a little difference in FPS.
-
slow Internet: FPS is not the only reason for the lag, but the latency (ping) due to slow internet it can also make the game slow and difficult to play. The best connection will provide less ping, what will be best for an online game.
Make sure you have a stable connection and good ping before checking the solutions. Now that you have a basic understanding of the nature of the problem, we will go to the solution.

Solution 4: Increase the priority in Task Manager (for PC and mobile devices)
Every time I start the game, go to »Task Manager» and make the game priority higher than normal. Increasing the priority is telling your system to give this program more CPU and memory than other running programs.
-
Launch the game and minimize it, then hold down Windows key and press R to open Run
-
Type »taskmgr» and Enter to open Task Manager, then go to the Details tab
-
You will find »TslGame. exe «, right click and set the priority to »Above Normal» or »High«

Solution 5: Tencent Playmate settings (for mobile devices)
Tencent Gaming Buddy's default settings may differ from your system specifications., so it can make your PUBG Mobile game lag. Changing the settings to be more compatible with your system can help you achieve higher fps and better overall performance in the emulator..

Open configuration
-
Select »Engine» and change the rendering mode to »OpenGL +» (depends on the GPU) o »DirectX +» (depends on CPU) according to your system specifications
