DS4Windows does not detect Windows driver 10

DS4 Windows is a tool that emulates the Dual Shock driver 4 from Sony as an XBOX controller that allows playing PC games on Windows operating system. With the latest Windows updates 10, Most of the users have experienced a problem with Windows DS4 as their DS4 controllers cannot connect with their PCs / laptops. In general, error appears “No controllers connected (max. 4)” and it does not disappear even after reconnecting the DS4 controller with the PC / laptop.

There can be several reasons that initiate this problem, described below.

Solution 1: uninstall and reconnect the DS4 controller device

Some users have also experienced this problem even while playing games., namely, DS4 controller stops working and shuts down automatically. This may be a bug in the Windows DS4 software, but it can be fixed by re-enabling device control from Device Manager.
