Solution 6: update your BIOS

BIOS stands for Basic input / output System and is a firmware that is used to perform hardware initialization during the computer boot process. The system BIOS is pre-installed on the computer by the manufacturer and is the first software to run when the computer starts.. Rather, it is a key that starts all other processes on the computer.

The BIOS is also responsible for testing the hardware components of your PC and making sure they are working properly without errors.. Most BIOSes are specifically designed to work with a specific model or motherboard.. Traditionally, BIOS was written to ROM and hardware had to be replaced when BIOS was updated. In modern computer systems, BIOS is stored in flash memory so it can be rewritten without the threat of hardware replacement.

There were numerous reports that updating the computer's BIOS solved the problem instantly, but we kept it as a last resort as it is very technical. Take a full backup of your data before resorting to this solution. What's more, consider reinstalling your BIOS even if it is updated to the latest version. We have several different articles that point to how to update your machine's BIOS (search this site for BIOS update).

Solution 7: check the authenticity of the graphics card

In some cases, the graphics card you are using may be fake or faulty. Therefore, to verify its authenticity, note the exact make and model of your graphics card and check its normal speeds online. Now, download GPU Z and run the executable to install it. After installation, check if your card is original or not. If it is not genuine and only a custom BIOS has been updated, return it to the place where you bought it and get a new one.

Note: It is also recommended that you try cleaning the GPU and reinstalling its thermal compound, as, reportedly, has helped some users to fix this problem.
