▷ How to forward multiple emails in Gmail

I think we can all agree that Gmail is one of the best email clients out there.. In terms of security and stability, Google has no serious competitors. But Gmail is far from perfect, as it has a number of key functions. The inability to provide a simple method to forward multiple emails in Gmail is an embarrassment to Google.

Email is the de facto means of communication for business organizations. Therefore, it is vital to make your life as easy as possible and increase productivity whenever you need to manage emails. If you work in a business environment, there will come a time when you need to do a bulk email forwarding. Unfortunately, Gmail doesn't know how to do it, well, does it, but very inefficiently.

You can forward multiple emails in Gmail by setting a filter and forward all incoming emails to a different address. But this will not help you forward the emails that are already in your inbox. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think anyone wants to manually forward hundreds of emails by hand. Unless you want to deliberately hang out and get fired.

If you're sitting on a pile of emails ready to be forwarded, we can help you. There are better ways to forward in Gmail than opening each email in part. Here are two methods to help you forward emails in Gmail (including native).

Method 1: forwarding multiple emails in Gmail with filters

This is the method “native” that i mentioned earlier. Although not an ideal way to forward your emails, works for the most part. Filters can be used to forward email conversations that already exist in your archives, but it does not work in all cases and has quite a few limitations. This method is reliable when you want to forward emails that have not yet arrived. It is unreliable when you have to forward emails that are already in your inbox. In my tests, this method has managed to skip more than half of the messages that I have prepared to be forwarded.

Here's what you need to do to forward multiple leaked emails in Gmail:

1. Login with your Gmail account and go to Gmail settings. To do this, tap the gear icon (Right upper corner) and click Settings.

   

2. Now look for the Forwarding and POP tab / IMAP and click on it. From there, click Add a forwarding address.

3. Now enter the email address you want to forward the emails to. Please note that a verification link will be sent to that address. Click Next and then Continue.

   

4. You need to access the verification link from the other email for this method to work.

   

5. Once you have successfully followed the activation link, go back to Gmail Settings. From there, select Resend a copy of incoming mail. Finally, click to create a filter.

   

6. Now is the time to configure our filter. If you want to forward all emails from a specific address, insert the email in the From field. You can restrict forwarding to emails containing specific words or forward only those with attachments. Once the filter is ready, click Create filter with this search.

   

7. Once you see the menu box again, check the box next to Forward to and make sure to select the email address you previously verified. Press Create filter when done.

   That is. Now all the emails that will be captured in the filter that we just created will be automatically forwarded to the destination we choose.

Method 2: use an extension to forward multiple emails in Gmail

However, this second method is far superior to gmail's naive filtering method. If you are not afraid to use extensions (there's no reason why i should), there are some that will make forwarding mass emails much easier. Since Google has created Gmail and Chrome, I recommend that you use the Chrome extension while using this method.

Note: Regardless of the extension you end up using, Google imposed a limit without notes of 100 emails forwarded per day. Up to now, There's no way to avoid it, from what I have discovered.

Then, We show you how to use the Multiple Forwarding extension for Gmail to forward emails in bulk:

1. Open Chrome and tap on the three dots icon (Right upper corner). Navigate to More Tools and click Extensions.

   

2. Scroll down and click on Get more extensions.

   

3. Multiple email forwarding search for GMail. Touch the extension to open it, then tap Add extension.

   Note: There are many extensions with the same name, so be sure to select the one from cloudhq.net because it is far superior. Here is a direct link if you missed it.

4. Immediately after clicking Add Extension, Gmail should open automatically. Enter your users' credentials if prompted. Now click on Create account and choose your own Gmail account from the list.

   

5. The extension is ready to use. Go ahead, select at least two emails from your account. You will notice a Multiple Forward icon that wasn't there before.

   

6. Now all that is left to do is insert the email address you want to forward the emails to. Tap Forward emails when done.

   

That's all. The recipient should receive the emails you just sent within minutes. At this time, you can safely close the Gmail window. Emails will look like any other email.

Conclution

As you can see, there are two main ways to send bulk emails from Gmail. Well, there is also a third, if you find that manually opening each email is a workable solution.

Being realistic, there are only two ways to tackle this problem in time. Or use an extension like the one we use in the Method 2, or use Gmail filters to automate your emails (Method 1). But if I'm going to be honest with you, I always use Multiple Email Forwarding for GMail. Up to now, has proven to be a reliable way to send mass emails. Using Gmail filters is a bit risky and tends to ignore messages already in your inbox.
