Nova rambler appears to be a Russian search engine hosted on the nova.rambler.ru website. However, some indicate there are crawlers on this search engine website. However, the big problem is that this search engine seems to have taken over all browser search operations. Every time you try to search in the address bar or search text box, nova rambler takes over and redirects your search request. https://r0.ru/ is the main page of this annoying search engine.
Why are you behaving like this with a legitimate website? In this article, we'll tell you what makes nova ramble your default search engine, how it got onto your computer and how to remove it.
What Makes Nova Ramble Your Default Search Engine?
If it is a legitimate search engine, Nova Ramble's marketing strategy is extremely aggressive. While nova.rambler.ru might be legit, the Russian website uses an advertising program called Nova.rambler.ru. This program is a little different from other browser hijackers. Nova.rambler.ru, unlike other hijackers, redirects the user to a real search engine, called Rambler, a russian search engine, that was first seen in activities of this type. When installing add-ons and extensions in the browser, this adware can change your browser settings through an application running in the background. In this way, you can set Nova Rambler as your default search engine at any time.
The aim of this hijacker is to attract users to the https website://r0.ru/, what is a real russian search engine. This page works and you can search with their help, if you know the russian language. This adware could have been intended to be distributed only through the Russian segment of the Internet, but somehow it got away from him. Then, despite all the possible advantages of this search engine, is not suitable for US and English users, and it's literally useless.
However, this adware doesn't install itself. It is very likely that you have obtained this adware from free applications and shareware. During the installation, You may have allowed the installation of third-party applications.
