How to find someone on Skype from the contacts menu?
Skype allows you to find someone in the Contacts menu. That is how!
(1) Open and launch the Skype app on your device.
Note: Sign in to your Skype account if you haven't already done so.
(From) Select menu Contacts (edit): in the menu bar at the top.
(3) Click on Add contact option and then click option Search in Skype directory .

(4) Write the Skype username or full name or email address in search field.
Advice! You can search the username along with the location to facilitate the search result.
(5) The list of users that match your search criteria will appear just below the search field.
(6) Select person or the contact you want to add to the contact list.
(7) Then click the button Add contacts .

Note: Wait for the contact to accept your request. You will be notified with a green check mark next to the name in the contact list.
How to find someone in the Skype search box?
Skype supports using the search box to find someone on Skype. This is an alternative way to the previous method.
(1) Launch the Skype app on your device at the beginning. Make sure you are logged into your account.
(From) Click on the search box. available in the upper left.

(3) In the search field, enter your Skype username or your full name or email address.
Alternative: If your contact has saved their Location, gender, age, idiom etc, in your Skype profile, then you can find someone who uses that information.
(4) Press option Search on Skype for Skype to find the contacts that match your search.
(5) On the next screen, locate the Skype user and click the button Add contacts .
Note: If you are not sure who it is, click the option View profile to find additional information about the user.
(6) You will need to submit a contact request by writing a short note about yourself and then tapping Submit .
(7) If the Skype user accepts your request, you will see a green check mark near that username in the contact list.
