This error will stop your download and then you will need to start it / stop it again manually.
What causes the E error / S para qBittorrent?
We investigated this particular issue by looking at various user reports and commonly used repair strategies to troubleshoot users who were in a similar situation.. According to our research, there are several different scenarios that are known to trigger this particular error message:
-
No permission for custom download location: there is a possibility that the problem is due to a permission access case. If the download location is changed from default to custom, then qBittorrent might need read and write permissions on that location. Several users who are in a similar situation have reported that they managed to solve this problem by running the application as administrator or keeping the default location for download.
-
Windows defender interference: Another possible case where this error occurs is when Windows is using Windows Defender security system to keep your system safe. Since the security system stops any kind of harmful or untrusted file, it may be able to interfere with your torrent files and cause them to stop working.

You can disable it in two different ways; one is temporary deactivation and the other is permanent deactivation of Windows Defender.
The temporary method will use the conventional start menu, in which Windows will reactivate Windows Defender in a couple of days. And the permanent method will be in your computer's registry editor. We are going to make the method permanent and install a third-party antivirus, which can replace Windows Defender work.

Open Run by searching or pressing the buttons (Windows + R) on a keyboard
-
Then type »regedit» in the text box and enter
-
Look for WinDefend in Registry Editor in the following directory:
