ThinkPad
Look for the serial number on the bottom of your ThinkPad machine or under the battery.
ThinkCentre / ThinkStation / ThinkServer
Look for the serial number on the side or back of your machine.
IdeaPad and Lenovo laptops
Find the serial number on the back of your machine.
IdeaCentre and Lenovo Desks / all in one
Find the serial number on the rear chassis of the machine.
Smartphone
Normally, smartphones and tablets do not have a serial number on the visible parts. To find the serial number, press Settings (System configuration)> System (All configurations)> System> About of the phone. Press Status and you will see the IMEI and serial number of your phone
Mesa

Monitor
For ThinkVision monitors, look for the serial number on the left edge of the monitor frame.
For Lenovo monitors (no ThinkVision), look for the serial number on the back cover.
System X

Find the serial number through the remote control symbol
