The WPS O method (push button method) is a quick and easy method of connecting printers to the router / wireless access point or gateway. As usual, the way it works is this button is pressed first on the printer and then on the router in 2 minutes for both devices to connect to each other.
There are two ways to access the WPS settings, either through settings or by pressing the WPS button on the printer. On some printer models, this button is not available, so to access it you must enter the printer configuration menu, which is usually indicated by the Tools icon / Spanner on the printer panel.
If the button is available, How do i connect my printer to the router?
If the button is available, look closely at the buttons on the printer to identify a button with a wireless icon. Press this button and then press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
If the WPS button is not available, What do i do then?
If the button is not available, can connect by entering printer settings via touch. This article does not cover specific models, but it is a general guide.
(A) indicates the configuration button which is what you will have to press. Once you are in the settings, use the arrow keys to enter »Wireless LAN Settings» or »Wireless Settings» or »Network Settings«.
Once inside, locate push button method or WPS method and continue with it.
You will then be prompted to press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
Press the WPS button on the router for the connection to occur.
