BSvcProcessor is not a necessary component of the Windows operating system and can be easily disabled without affecting your computer. And what is more, sometimes the process can also disguise itself as a virus or malware. As a precaution, it is advisable to run a proper antivirus scan to look for errors or malware lurking on your computer. We have put together several different solutions for this problem. Start from the top and work your way down accordingly.

Solution 1: turn off the binocular bar

Now here's a twist, you can disable the Bing bar on your computer directly using the control panel (if you have the program installed separately) or we have to go to the internet explorer (or any other browser) and disable the plugin from there. You can easily determine how it will work for you based on your requirements.

  1. Press Windows + R, type »control panel» in the dialog box and press Enter.

  2. Once in the control panel, click on »Uninstall a program«.

Solution 2: check startup processes

Another thing we can check is if Bing is running as a startup process on your computer. This is very likely, since Bing is known to enter our computer, so we choose it over other search engines. We will use MSConfig to check if any Bing-related process is running on your computer.

MSConfig is a system utility present in almost all versions of Windows that is used to troubleshoot the Microsoft Windows startup process. We can use it to disable or enable specific software, Windows device drivers or services that run every time the computer starts.

  1. Press Windows + R, scribe “msconfig” in the dialog box and press Enter.

  2. Click on the tab »Services», look in the entries for any process related to Bing and uncheck

  1. Now restart your computer and see if the error message still persists. Hopefully, no, since you have disabled the process responsible for spawning at the beginning of your boot.

Note: You can also perform a clean boot and see which process or application is causing the problem. Clean boot is a state in which the computer starts up with a minimal set of drivers and system applications. If the problem does not persist on clean boot, you must enable some processes / applications and restart the computer. Now check if the error persists. In this way, you can diagnose which app or process is causing the problem and uninstall it accordingly.

Solution 3: remove Bingsvc from the registry

If the two previous solutions are of no use, we can try to remove Bing from your registry. We will delete the registry editor key. Make sure to back up your registry before doing this solution so you always have a restore point if something goes wrong.

Note: the registry editor is a powerful tool. Deleting keys that you have no idea about can lead to further problems on your computer and even render it unusable. Follow the instructions very carefully.

  1. Press Windows + R, scribe “regedit” in the dialog box and press Enter.

  2. Once in the registry editor, navigate to the following file path using the left navigation panel:
